Education
I graduated from Red Bird High School in 1983. I attended Alice Lloyd for 1 year before transferring to Eastern Kentucky University where I received my Bachelor's of Science in Secondary (7-12) mathematics teaching in 1987. I received my Master's Degree in Education in 1991 and my Rank I in 1996 from EKU. Mission Statement-All students can learn based on what we do. Vision Statement-Leslie County High School students will enter the workforce or a postsecondary educational institution prepared to be independent, productive problem solvers to successfully meet the challenges of the future. |

Experience
I taught my first year at Red Bird High School. The other 24 years I have taught at Leslie County High School. I have worked many summer jobs to pay my way through college such as U.S. Forest Service and McDonald's. |
