Bio
I was born in Manchester, KY and have lived most of my life there.  I now reside in London, Ky.  This may seem like a long commute, but I enjoy driving (plus, I own a hybrid and get nearly 50 mpg!).  I also participate in many different musical ensembles around the area.  You can regularly see me performing with the Union College Regional Chorus in Barbourville, KY, the London Community Orchestra in London, and the praise and worship team at Manchester Christian Church...oh, yeah, and with the Leslie County Bands.  I am also a member or several professional and academic organizations including the Kentucky Educator's Association (KEA), Kentucky Music Educator's Association (KMEA), Music Educator's National Convention (MENC), and MENSA.  I have also previously been a member of the National Band Director's Association (but I forgot to renew my membership, oops!).  I am married to Travis Brown, a banjo player from London, KY, and have a border collie named Oreo.
